Doosan Power Systems India’s Integrated Power value chain was built through multiple M&As.

Consolidation of Indian Entities (1997- 2011)

1997, Born as Inkor Engineering Pvt. Ltd.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction acquired an Indian Company in 1997 to set up a Project Company in Mumbai, in Power Sector in the Indian Power Market.
2005, Doosan Engineering & Services India Pvt. Ltd.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction in November 2005, established and set up an Engineering Company in Gurgaon to provide engineering services for Power Sector in India.
2007, Acquisition of Mitsui Babcok Energy India Pvt. Ltd.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction acquired Mitsui Babcock Energy India Pvt. Ltd., an Indian Company in 2007 to set up R & M Company in Power Sector in India & name changed as Doosan Babcock Energy India Pvt. Ltd.
Name changed as “Doosan Projects India Pvt. Ltd.”

Name changed from Inkor Engineering Pvt. Ltd. to ‘Doosan Projects India Pvt. Ltd’.
2011, Integration of business of three Indian Subsidiaries Company

Doosan Engineering & Doosan Babcock Energy were completely merged into Doosan Projects India and name changed to ‘Doosan Power Systems India Pvt. Ltd’.
Acquisition of AE & E Chennai Works Pvt. Ltd.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction acquired an Indian Company in 2011 to set up a Boiler Manufacturing Company in Chennai to boost up the manufacturing capabilities for Boiler pressure parts for the Indian Power market. Renamed as ‘Doosan Chennai Works’

Take-off as an Integrated Power Value Chain Player (2012- Present)

2012, Integration of EPC business with Boiler Manufacturing Company

The EPC Company ‘Doosan Power Systems India’ was merged with Boiler manufacturing Company, ‘Doosan Chennai Works’ and integrated EPC & manufacturing of boilers & accessories into one Company named as ‘Doosan Power Systems India’ Pvt. Ltd.
